53Automatic doors like good wine or children?
Automatic Doors Guru here with another tip for your poor old neglected automatic doors. When was the last time you sent them a box of chocolates or gave them flowers? No, I don't think I'm crazy, at least not yet, but if I get one more “Dear Guru” letter from one more automatic door, I am going to scream.
When was the last time you actually visited your automatic doors and checked on their needs. They are not like a good wine. Leave them alone for decades and they will age to perfection. They are more like a little child. You need to check on them daily and if they are getting out of line, gently get them back on track. Don't let your customers be the ones that raise your doors for you. They won't care for them the way that you can.
Check on them every morning. Spend a little one on one time with them to make sure everything is OK in their lives. Don't just assume that because they are awake every morning they aren't having any troubles at all. It only takes a few quality minutes each day to see if they are still safe and sound. It will pay you great rewards in the long run to know you have done everything in your power to keep them well. Pay absolutely no attention ever and they will run wild after every one who crosses their threshold and before you know it they are off track and out of control. Yes, I know, you can pamper them all you want and sometimes they will still get off track. But, the best trained automatic doors will always remember eventually the teachings of a conscientious parent and return to the ways they should when visited and encouraged each morning.

Automatic doors have been my life up until recently. I'm tired of working on those things. Now I just want to sit back and talk about them. Automatic doors come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Mostly, though, they come in clear anodized (silver for the normal folk) and dark bronze (dark brownish for said). If you want to learn more about the interesting side of the business, stay tuned for our ongoing updates. Sometimes we may compare them to freight trains and sometimes to mothers-in-law. Yeah, yeah, I know. What's the difference?! All in all, automatic doors are a hoot and like little children, they are almost always into trouble if not payed attention to properly. So, stay tuned and we will do our best to entertain as well as inform, but more of the entertaining I hope. - 2 years ago
